Solaira Alpha Series Infrared Patio Heaters
Next evolution of infrastructure grade, architectural, engineered radiant heaters for indoor and outdoor environments.
Alpha series heaters produce short wavelength infrared heat—86% of consumed energy is transferred into instant, controllable, directional heat. Shortwave infrared heating technology is not affected by wind and warms people and objects. The modular design of the Alpha series allows engineers to adjust and direct specified heating loads based on area requirements.
Installation Flexibility - Clean lines for any environment
The Solaira Alpha Series infrared heater gives you the ability to wall mount or ceiling suspend, providing greater design flexibility while maximizing heater coverage area. Three form sizes of heaters with output up to 6000W allows engineers to evenly distribute heater loads while architects and designers can integrate perfectly.
Infrastructure Grade, High Output - Engineered for commercial and industrial applications
The modular design of the Solaira Alpha Series allows specifying engineers to adjust and direct specified heating loads based on area requirements. High mounting hights and open exposed outdoor areas are not a problem for Solaira IP55 outdoor exposed rated Alpha Alpha series heaters. Available in standard RALl9006 Antique Grey or RAL 9005 Black.
High Quality Construction - Reliable, efficient and effective
A high output, modular design with outputs varying from 1500 to 18,000W at 120, 208, 240 or 277V. Manufactured from extruded and cast aluminum with UV-resistant polyester powder coating, and assembled with stainless steel fasteners. Available with 4th generation ultra-low glare quartz tungsten, filtered short wave emitters. Up to 8000-hour emitter life.

Why Choose Solaira Radiant Heating?
State-of-the-art engineered systems, automation and controls from a company focused solely on technical radiant heating solutions.
Through extended investment in technology and continuous improvement, Solaira's engineering focus is on developing architectural, efficient radiant heating and control solutions.
High Performance, High Efficiency Radiant Heat
Solaira S-Wave high intensity, filtered light radiant heaters behave like sunshine, providing warmth you can feel instantly. For example, during cloudy days, you feel cold while the sun is hidden, when the clouds break and the sun suddenly appears, you immediately feel the warmth. The air temperature did not change, what you are experiencing is shortwave infrared heat produced by the sun. Experience Solaira and feel the difference our heaters generate compared to the competition.
Comfortable Radiant Heat and the Halogen Cycle
Solaira S-Wave, filtered, low glare quartz halogen emitters lamps consist of a tungsten filament heated by the passage of an electric current to a temperature of 2400º Kelvin (3800°F). At this temperature, most of the output (emission) is in the short wave infra-red band (1.2 microns) providing low glare, directional, radiant heat. As with all tungsten filament lamps, the tungsten will evaporate in time and deposit itself on the wall of the lamp. To prevent this undesirable effect a small amount of halogen gas is added to the envelope of the emitter lamp and hence a process of re-composition takes place as the tungsten evaporates it will combine with the halogen gas to form tungsten halide and so prevent the tungsten being deposited on the wall of the lamp. The tungsten halide will recombine with the filament releasing the halogen and re-depositing the tungsten on the filament. This process is a continuous one and is known as the halogen cycle giving our Solaira Emitters an estimate 5000 hr life with performance.
