QuickBooks Purchase Order Automation (internal tool)

This is a private, internal tool operated by PatioHeatingDirect.com for its own bookkeeping. It is not a public app, has no customer accounts or public sign-up, and is not offered to other businesses.

What it does. Every 15 minutes it reads PatioHeatingDirect.com’s own QuickBooks Online sales receipts, items and vendors, and creates a purchase order for each supplier so the order can be shipped directly to the customer. It can email the purchase order to the supplier.

Data it uses. Sales receipt details (items, quantities, ship-to address and order numbers), item and vendor records, and the QuickBooks sign-in token needed to stay connected. The token and a record of which purchase orders were created are stored in the company’s private Google Cloud account. Nothing is sold, shared with third parties or used for advertising.

Connecting and disconnecting. The connection is made once by an authorized PatioHeatingDirect.com team member. It can be removed at any time in QuickBooks Online under Apps, which stops the tool immediately.
