The Solaira SMaRT Occupancy Monitor features a passive infrared sensor that automatically switches on your infrared heaters when someone enters into the room. The heaters will remain on until the programmed time limit has been exceeded. If the sensor detects further movement, the time period will be reset. This Solaira SMaRT Occupancy Monitor also includes an on-board temperature sensor that monitors the temperature and will inhibit the heaters when the temperature exceeds the pre-determined set point of between 41° F to 77° F. This sensor has a water resistant enclosure and can be used indoor and outdoor.
